Sure, a number of “Apple is doomed” stories have surfaced recently, but it can be hard to tell sensational journalism apart from accurate critical commentary. So what is the real status of the tech giant? While Apple iOS appears to be losing market share to Android, Apple execs can still enjoy a few laughs at Microsoft’s attempts at building a competing tablet. And while we wait for the iWatch and a real Apple TV to hit stores, we can be sure of the continued progress of Apple’s core attributes: iOS7, efficient sharing of user data with the NSA, and a growing smugness among Apple users worldwide 🙂
