How Long Does It Take for a New Song to Become a Classic?

Do you think new music is getting better or worse than the creative songs of our past? Often times new friendly and catchy tunes instantly appeal to our senses, yet get on our nerves after excessive play. When this happens, we “wish we were” still living back in the day, listening to classics from musical legends like Pink Floyd again for the very first time. Other times, though, we hear new songs that don’t sound good at first, yet as we keep hearing these songs played over and over again some of them eventually grow on us and break into our mental musical halls of fame!
