10 Best Abstract Photos of 2013 via 500px

4500px has launched its Best Photos of 2013 series and has just announced the top abstract photographs of the year. Abstract artists like Pablo Picasso use creative visual forms, colors and shapes to create compositions that loosely resemble objects in the real world yet allow your mind to wander and fill in the gaps.

Don’t let the basic simplicity fool you here, though, as this is one of the most realistic and colorful adaptions of abstraction you’ll ever see!
