After the atrocities of World War II, the United Nations was commissioned in 1945 to maintain peace, international security and respect for all humans. Led by Eleanor Roosevelt, the organization went on to draft the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to designate common standards of quality of life for all people and nations to abide by.
This poster, created by Zen Pencils, celebrates Blog Action Day, today, focusing on the theme of human rights. Check out the original wording of the Declaration here.
