Hip-hop legends Pete Rock and Camp Lo have released their sophomore collaboration, 80 Blocks From Tiffany’s Pt. II.
The recording makes up the latter half of a two-LP album first launched back in 2011. The duo’s conception dates back all the way to 2008, though, when Pete Rock worked with the Bronx duo and Styles P on “On Smash.” The project features some big guest appearances from noteworthy artists like Talib Kweli on “Ladies and Gentleman,” Mac Miller on the lead single “Megan Good,” MOP and Ab-Soul. All production comes courtesy of the beat-master Peter Rock who always makes soulful beats and “sometimes spits a few lines,” too.
I remember listening to Pete Rock and Camp Lo back in the day, so it’s nice to see them back with some banging new joints. Make sure to grab the album for free below via DJ Booth if you like what you hear!
