Grumpy Cat Cake Pops where one is half eatenGrumpy Cat, you’re so grumpy, we just want to eat you all up. Here’s a nod to our favorite internet feline and to geek culture in general by Bakerella, a blogger with a flair for decorative desserts. These Grumpy Cat cake pops look so grumpily delicious!

Making normal cake pops is pretty simple: you bake a cake, crumble it up with some frosting, make balls, push in a candy stick, dip them into melted chocolate, and let them dry. These Grumpy Cat cake pops, on the other hand, are cake pops of another world. After following the typical cake pop method, Bakerella pulls out her magic to create Grumpy Cat’s face. She makes blue eyes by cutting jumbo confetti sprinkles into perfect semi-circles and draws lines with a toothpick dipped in white chocolate. Fancy stuff.

Though Bakerella’s kindly posted her recipe on her blog with detailed instructions for making these cake pops at home, we already know that so much as attempting to make these is way beyond our baking skills. Bakerella, will you be our friend and bake us some of these?
