Flipboard recently launched the ability for iOS users to save the things they love into hand-curated magazines on Flipboard. And after almost a year of integration with Android phones and tablets, these readers can now become editors too. Starting today, Android users can also create magazines around any passion, interest or event, from favorite bands, sporting news or anything that you care about. Simply tap the + button next to any article, choose a name for your magazine, text description and then flip it. You can create as many magazines as you want that cam draw from any source on Flipboard which includes other magazines and what’s being shared on your social networks like Google+, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and SoundCloud.
This latest edition of Flipboard takes advantage of some of Android’s unique features:
- flip photos you like on your phone or tablet into your magazine
- add any item from the web via your mobile browser to your magazine
- share magazine links with other apps like Skype and Facebook Messenger
- curate your interests from the Flipboard widget into your magazine

Flipboard Editor for the Web
Flipboard also released a new website called Flipboard Editor that allows users to easily create and manage magazines right from any desktop computer. The Flipboard Editor provides a convenient dashboard to rearrange magazines, set new covers and share them with the world. You can also get a bird’s eye view of your audience reader size, your own curation activity and your reader interactions like comments, likes, reflips and pages viewed.
