Since the announcement of Ben Affleck as the new Batman, the Internet has been set ablaze with jokes and memes about the actor in this upcoming role. From the former Batman, Christian Bale, mocking the new face of the franchise, to rival comic Marvel, everyone seems to be getting in on the fun, except for Grumpy Cat of course, who isn’t in a joking mood about the new hire.
Naturally speculation also mounted that Matt Damon, his old Boston buddy and former sidekick, would apprise that role once again as Robin. However, this hope was soon shot down by a rather displeased Mr. Damon. So one has to wonder, while Ben Affleck may be the hero Gotham needs, is he really the one it deserves right now?
