Apple and IBM have embarked on an exclusive landmark deal that is set to change the mobile enterprise landscape. IBM will be launching a suite of enterprise-specific apps built directly for Apple’s iOS including security, analytics and other management programs. IBM will also be pushing iPhones and iPads onto its corporate clientele while Apple does the same with IBM’s services. While this isn’t the first relationship the two giants have fancied, it marks a significant turn since Apple portrayed IBM to be Big Brother in the famous “1984” ad.
Before the consummation is complete, though, does anyone object?
