Today Twitter announced updates to their mobile website, Android and iOS apps that will help you find the content you care about quicker. The release provides a single stream of information in each tab so you can easily find the most relevant mix of followers, photos and tweets.

Discover

Now all content in the Discover section like tweets, activity, trends and suggestion appear in a single stream for both Androids and iPhones. You can also check activity and trends from the new preview feature at the top of the discovery tab.

Search

The Search menu now shows the most relevant mix of tweets, photos and user accounts, all in one stream (similar to the discover stream). Twitter also added a new search button for the iPhone, letting you search from anywhere within the app (note this feature was available previously on the Android and iPad).

Connect

In order to provide a simpler user experience, the Connect tab here shows Interactions like new followers, retweets and mentions. You also have the options to customize this view to only see mentions like before.

Links

Visiting websites became easier as links you click in a tweet now go directly to the website as opposed to the preview window before making it a 2-step process.
