Now that we’ve developed computerized ways to express our emotions via 1’s and 0’s, have we become emotionless in the process?
Just the other day I caught myself saying “LOL” instead of laughing at someone’s joke! Because it wasn’t really funny, so naturally I tried to reach for my virtual collection of OMG WTF responses and emoticons instead of actually chuckling, like the guy in this funny College Humor bit.
So the next time you have someone “rolling on the floor” via instant messaging, you might just need to consider if you’re getting emoti-conned instead!
