On Twitter’s eighth birthday the network’s decided to give us a little gift. Instead of taking glory for making it eight years, Twitter is thanking its users by offering them the chance to revisit their first tweets.
At the start of Twitter, people started warming up to the idea of posting short, 140-character statuses. Today, though, Twitter says:
Eight years later, our users have transformed Twitter into [sic] place where you can discover new ideas, make real human connections and express yourself freely.
