It’s not every day you get to see people so at one with their surroundings outside the confines of smoky mountain Colorado. But this hilarious project by Erwan Fichou that photographs people while standing at the top of strangely shaped trees will be sure to get you in touch with the wild nature in your own backyard.
Fichou was spooked awhile back after seeing a strange man standing in a tree which he swore “looked exactly like a UFO.” Ever since then, that moment has been haunting him and urging him to comically recreate the scene with local gardeners in Mexico to trip trees into various fun shapes like tea cups and broccoli before inviting spectators to mount the exhibits for a surreal green portrait they will not soon forget.
