The 2014 NBA All-Star Game on Twitter

Did you catch the NBA All-Star game last night? Hoops fans gathered from around the world to cheer on the top basketball players and sent out 2.5 million Tweets during the game, Pharrell pre-game performance and halftime show.

The night was also full of action as the East was triumphant over the West by a score of 163-155. The biggest moment of the game came when Lebron James and Blake Griffin enjoyed back to back dunks causing a fury of tweets at a rate of 46,487 per minute according to Twitter!

The most mentioned players during the game were Kyrie Irving from the East (who dropped 31 points with 14 assists and was named the player of the game) along with Blake Griffin from the West.
