Man on the Moon: 9 Surreal Space Photos Framed

Daniel Arsham is a New York-based artist, but by the looks of this collection you might be more inclined to believe he actually lives on the moon. Arsham’s work has been featured everywhere from the New York Times to the Miami Herald, ranging from the two-dimensional to the four-dimensional. Besides his solo work, Arsham is pioneering a new collaborative practice called Snarkitecture with colleague Alex Mustonen. Snarkitecture is a practice “operating in territories between the disciplines of art and architecture,” according to Arsham.

The collection of moon shots here today, perhaps inspired a bit by Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon album, explores everything from strange carvings on the moon’s surface to floating geometrical objects for you and the astronaut to ponder!
