Make the Logo Bigger: A Cheeky, Universal Response to the Common Client Request

What if you took your favorite logos and made them bigger? San Francisco-based art director and designer Andrew Wendling feels that clients too commonly overlook simplicity and minimalist design principles, often requesting that designers “make the logo bigger.” So Wendling started a tongue-in-cheek Tumblr that literally zooms in on famous logos from our favorite brands. However, instead of just making the logos bigger, he blows up only a tiny part of it to create humorous yet minimalist blocks of colors.

The interesting thing about the project is that even though we can only see a tiny portion of the company logos, many of us would still be able to call out the name of just about every brand featured!

Were you able to identify all the brands depicted?
