Inception-Like Cityscapes Reflected in Black and White

Brad Sloan fell in love with the urban landscape of New York City during one three-day trip to the city, and his artwork has reflected that love ever since. While Sloan, based out of Oregon, refers to his photography as just a hobby, Christopher Nolan just might be dialing his number before the new sequel to Inception. That’s because Sloan captures amazing city skyline and architectural photographs and then applies a surreal Inception-like manipulation by duplicating the images into mirrored reflections of themselves.

The simplicity of Sloan’s black and white images allows you to focus in on their powerful and complex geometric patterns while being sucked into the thin stream of skylight separating these massive structures turned on top of each other.
