With stores promoting their upcoming Black Friday sales and customers vying for new electronics this week, Google’s executive chairman Eric Schmidt is trying to convert iPhone fanboys to droids. On Google+ Schmidt published a four-step guide for converting to Android from iPhone, kicking off the guide by touting Android’s built-in cloud services and dominance in the marketplace:

Like the people who moved from PCs to Macs and never switched back, you will switch from iPhone to Android and never switch back as everything will be in the cloud, backed up, and there are so many choices for you. 80% of the world, in the latest surveys, agrees on Android.”

Schmidt then goes into detail about how to log in to your Android phone, sync your iPhone contacts to Gmail and transfer important files like pictures and music to your droid. Before signing off, Schmidt can’t help but take a stab at Apple’s Safari, telling users to “be sure to use Chrome, not Safari; its safer and better in so many ways.”

Thinking of converting your iPhone user friend to Android, or making the switch yourself? You can check out Schmidt’s guide in its entirety here.
