Facebook is testing a feature for the News Feed that will let you glimpse into your past. Called On This Day, the feature will display a feed of your friends’ posts from this day in previous years. Facebook confirmed that this feature is being demoed in certain users’ News Feeds, but not everyone’s, according to Inside Facebook.
To check if you have access to Today in History, look for a drop-down menu of News Feed options as shown above. If you see this list look for “On This Day” to try the feature. In addition to seeing highlights of your friends’ most important status updates, you should find life events such as marriages and new jobs in the sidebar.
