The 50 States of America Cleverly Depicted in LEGOs

Every state in America has its own unique landscape and local culture. Artist and photographer Jeff Friesen looks to bring these scenes to life brick by fantastic LEGO brick in his 50 States of LEGO exhibit.

Whether you’re cruising the boardwalk on the Jersey Shore, catching some rays at Miami’s South Beach or riding a monster wave in Hawaii, there is plenty of fun going on in all of Friesen’s LEGO creations. You can also see some rather humorous conspiracies and other occurrences come to life, from a friendly Abominable Snowman in Alaska to a chill alien kicking it with a cowboy in the desert heat of New Mexico where “people tend to shy away from probing,” according to Friesen.
