SoundCloud is one of the most popular places online to listen to music. Today SoundCloud is giving its embeddable music player a visual overhaul with the hopes of “making tracks look as good as they sound,” the company wrote on its blog.

SoundCloud: New Visual Player

To add one of these new visually appealing songs to your blog, just click “Share” and then “Embed,” where you can access code for the new and old embed styles.

Using the “More Options” link you can configure the height to 300, 450 and 600 pixels.

And a neat trick to display back-to-back songs like these new joints by the1975 and Schoolboy Q is to manually change the width within the embed code to 50%.

SoundCloud also mentioned that the listening experience for embedded music has been enhanced with a continuous playback feature in the new visual players along with a showcase of related tracks during pauses and after a song is complete. For Pro Unlimited users, SoundCloud will show your spotlight tracks instead of others’ related tracks. And if you are already using the old visual players on your site, the existing formatting will continue to be available with a waveform makeover similar to the new visual player.

Are you excited to embed new, better looking songs on your blog?
