This Timelapse Video Will Take You to New Heights in Japan
Get lost in the clouds above Japan in this entrancing timelapse video by Suishu Ikeda. Throughout Summer 2013 Ikeda filmed the sky in Japan from various intriguing locations. He threaded his scenes together to create this breathtaking quilt of flowing clouds, skyscrapers, and rising and setting suns. At parts, the scenes seem like unreal pictures featuring lava spewing out of a dark cloud facing the sunset, or like the world has been flipped and the cities lie beneath oceans of clouds.
Here are some stunning stills from Ikeda’s film:
Ikeda studied photography in California and currently manages his own analog photo studio, TsubameFilm, where he focuses mostly on black and white photography.
