Watch This Incredible Video of a Supercell Thunderstorm Forming in Wyoming [TIMELAPSE]

This video of a deadly but beautiful supercell storm brings new meaning to the phrase “if looks can kill.” Filmed by Storm chasers from Basehunters Chasing, the footage depicts a deadly thunderstorm that took place in northeast Wyoming on Sunday.

Supercell thunderstorms, also known as rotating thunderstorms, are characterized by a constant rotating updraft. They are one of the few types of storms that can cause tornadoes. Although they are rare, they are very severe. In fact, they’re one of the most destructive forces in nature, despite their beauty.
