Spinning Perspectives: If Records Could See

Sometimes we wonder what we’d learn if walls could talk, but what if other household items could see? “Record” is a short film that explores life from such a point of view, showing what life might look like from the perspective of a vinyl spinning on a record player. The video shows how groups of people interact in different ways to the same piece of music, exposing personal conflicts, violent eruptions, and festive abandon.

The film was created for “Hello Again,” a project by the Lincoln Motor Company that asks emerging filmmakers to “reimagine the familiar into something fresh and new.”
