Portugal: a Timelapse Excursion Through Diverse Landscapes and Vibrant City Life [VIDEO]

Portugal is the westernmost country in Europe, with a Mediterranean climate and breathtaking landscapes. Thousands of years of human occupation have taken a toll on the environment. Still, there are several protected areas that allow the natural beauty of the country to survive, granting us the privilege of seeing some of its most amazing sights.

The Portuguese photographer and “timelapser” who goes by the name of PTimelapse has created a remarkable video of Portugal’s diverse landscapes, as well as it’s vivacious urban life. In the timelapse, you can see some of the protected areas like Parque Nacional da Peneda-Gerês, Parque de Natureza de Noudar and Parque Natural do Alvão. You also get a glimpse of the vibrant city architecture in Marvão town. In all, PTimelapse captured more than 12,000 images throughout the country to create his wondrous timelapse.
