Experience the magnificent city of Paris with a bird’s-eye view of a real-life eagle. This trained white-tailed eagle named Victor soars around Paris with a Sony Action Cam strapped to his back, giving us a spectacular view of the city and the unique experience of flying like an eagle.
Victor takes off from the top of the Eiffel Tower and circles the city at a whopping 111 miles per hour. When he returns to the Trocadéro Gardens, he elegantly lands on his handler’s outstretched arm. The flight, which took place on September 28, was arranged by FREEDOM, a non-profit trying to bring the white-tailed eagle back to France 50 years after the bird species died out in the region.
