Take a Journey Through Norway in This Stunning Time-Lapse Adventure [VIDEO]
If Norway brings to mind cold weather and isolation, you may want to think twice. Or, better yet, just check out this time-lapse video by Norwegian photographer and filmmaker Morten Rustad.
Rustad created his film during a five-month, 9,300 mile road trip across all of Norway’s 19 counties, from the southern tip to the country’s border withe Russia in the northeast. And it turns out that the beauty of the Norwegian landscape is jaw-dropping. From the orange and purple sunsets to the vibrant red towns, from the tranquil bodies of water to the bright green northern lights, the country is bursting with colors.
On the video’s YouTube page, Rustad explains:
The aim of this 5 minute short film is to show the variety of Norway, everything from the deep fjords in the Southwest, to the moon landscape in the North, the Aurora Borealis (Nothern Lights) and the settlements and cities around the country, both in summer and wintertime. The video shows some of the most scenic places in Norway, such as Lofoten, Senja, Helgelandskysten, Geirangerfjorden, Nærøyfjorden and Preikestolen.
