Daft Signz: Tricky Street Choreography to Daft Punk’s ‘Lose Yourself to Dance’

It feels like the world has been listening to Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories (RAM) on repeat since it was released in May. The extremely detail-oriented album brings back sounds from the 1970s and 80s in a way no one else could. Needless to say, we’re obsessed!

In response to the album hit “Lose Yourself to Dance,” an L.A.-based dance group has choreographed a dance that might blow your mind a little. In their #DaftSignz video (above), the group synthesizes two seemingly unrelated performance types, street dance and sign spinning, into a dance like none you’ve ever seen before. I’ve never seen a tribute to Daft Punk more in tune with the way the band pieces together contrasting elements in a subtle, pleasing ways.
