100 Years Through a Camera Lens: Re-creations of the Century’s Most Iconic Images in the ‘Leica 100’ Camera Ad [VIDEO]

The new commercial for Leica cameras takes you on an epic journey of the past century through some of its most iconic photographs. German optics company Leica began manufacturing cameras in 1913 and to celebrate its 100th anniversary, the company has released “Leica 100,” a clever advertisement in which 35 famous historic photos are re-created. The photos include “Migrant Mother” by Dorothea Lange, “Identical Twins” by Diane Arbus, “La Jeune Fille a la Fleur” by Marc Riboud, and “Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima” by Joe Rosenthal. The ad was created by ad agency F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi for Leica Gallery Sao Paolo.
