Catch a Glimpse of the Largest Sunspot in 22 Years in This High Definition Timelapse of the Sun [VIDEO]

The sun currently has a sunspot that measures 80,000 miles across, which is the equivalent of 10 Earths lined up side by side. This is the largest sunspot seen in 22 years and the Solar Dynamics Observatory created a timelapse to show it off to the world. The video is comprised of 17,000 images of the sun’s surface, taken this year, October 14-30. Watch in amazement as you witness the largest sunspot since 1990.
