Have you ever seen a flipbook like this? Mou Hitotsu no Kenkyujo published a series of not-so-ordinary flip books that cleverly use negative space and secret compartments to tell their stories. The compartments are not actually compartments, per say, but are grooves and cutouts within the book that gradually reveal themselves as you flip through them. Because of these unique elements, combined with the elaborate illustrations, Kenkyujo’s flipbooks are rather extraordinary.
