Manta rays, a type of fish with flat bodies and pectoral fins that resemble wings, grow up to 2,980 pounds and as wide as 23 feet. Now imagine swimming side by side with a sea creature that big.
Thanks to professional scuba diver and dive instructor Roberto Ochoa, you can see what it would be like to encounter one of these massive rays. Using a GoPro camera, Ochoa captured some remarkable footage of his dive with giant manta rays off the coast of Ayangue, Ecuador. So, how do you think you would react if you found yourself swimming next to a giant manta ray?
