Exhausted Father Records Vines of Daughter Every Saturday Morning for 3 Months
It’s hard being a parent, from the long nights to early mornings spent with overly energetic kids. But Tony, (aka “Bottlerocket“) a 38-year-old father of two daughters, decided to make something of the tired mornings. Using Vine, Tony turned his early Saturday mornings into something a little more fun.
Every Saturday Tony is left alone with his four-year-old for an hour before her dance class and, without fail, his daughter insists on listening to her Spotify playlist every time. Tony started recording Vines of his mornings featuring his hyper daughter dancing and playing around to the unapologetic soundtrack of her favorite pop tunes and his own face as he tried to wake up. After three months, Tony compiled some of the Vines into the short but hilarious YouTube video that you see above.
In a statement to BuzzFeed, Tony discussed how much he enjoys Vine and the simplicity of creating short video clips to share. He also reassured readers that the annoyed faces he makes in the videos serve only to add to the videos’ humor; in reality, he isn’t annoyed by his daughter.
