Listen to the New Daft Punk Album Leaked via iTunes

Earlier this week, iTunes started streaming the much-anticipated Daft Punk album Random Access Memories. However due to a security flaw, iTunes is letting users download the full album in a high-quality 256kbbs MP4 file with no DRM protection! With the proper tool, you can actually grab this pre-release for free right from Apple, one of the world’s largest music stores. As tested and confirmed by The Verge, the leak is indeed real, and works for any streaming album preview on the site! Of course some of the album hits like Get Luck featuring Pharrell Williams leaked way before it was even available on iTunes, but major record labels can’t be happy about the iTunes fail here.

But Daft Punk fans sure seem to be happy about the new album, which premiered in Wee Waa, Australia today, a town of 2,000 people chosen as the official launch party. Fans have been spotted wearing robot-like Daft Punk masks all week leading up to the festival! Be sure to check out the songs for yourself and see what all the fuss is all about!
