Vengeful Woman Telekinetictly Sends Man and Tables Flying in This Coffee Shop Prank
How would you react if you saw a person using telekinesis in real life? Would you scream, run away, or whip out your smartphone? In what appears to be a very successful (and frightening) marketing stunt, a woman with telekinetic powers sends a man and tables flying in a New York coffee shop, to the horror of innocent onlookers.
Angry after the man sitting next to her accidentally bumps into her table and causes her coffee to spill all over her computer, a woman shouts, “Just get away from me!”, apparently sending the man gliding up the coffee shop’s brick wall with nothing more than a swooping motion of her hand. The video captures the reactions of unsuspecting coffee shop goers. Little do the bystanders know that what they are seeing is all a prank.
A Telekinetic Coffee Shop Surprise
According Variety, this prank video was created by Thinkmodo, a viral video marketing company, to promote the upcoming movie Carrie. The movie, based on the Stephen King novel of the same name, tells the story of an outcast girl with telekinetic powers who wreaks havoc on her town.
Catch Carrie in theaters starting October 19.
What would you have done if you were in the coffee shop with “Carrie?”
Hat tip to my friend Ajay Ghadiyaram for passing the video along!
