Bird Songs Come to Life in These Digital 3D Animations [VIDEO]

Have you ever felt mesmerized by the melody of a bird song? Australian artist Andy Thomas translates this audible beauty into a visual work of art, by creating what he calls “audio life forms.”

Thomas’s “audio life forms” are animations that respond to audio input. In his latest project, Thomas used bird songs as the input, which resulted in a moving, digital, three-dimensional design, its shapes and color changing with every new sound. Thomas explains the special software he uses on his website.
