These High School Students Are Creating a Prosthetic Hand for a Two-Year-Old

Two-year-old Zaxton was born with only a thumb and a pinky. Without his missing fingers, it can be difficult for Zaxton to handle certain objects.

When Herb Wasson, a teacher at Leander High School in Texas, asked these three juniors to build a custom prosthetic hand for the two-year-old brother of a former student, they jumped on the case. Now the incredible team has spent countless hours 3D-printing a number of hands for the energetic and adorable toddler.
