RSS: Really Simple Syndication for DashBurst

After the fall of Google Reader and Twitter RSS, many have pondered if RSS is dead, but the technology is still alive and well here at DashBurst. RSS (Rich Site Summary or often referred to as Really Simple Syndication) is a standard web feed format to automatically publish information like blog posts, photos, videos, audio and other media. RSS feeds provide a useful way to subscribe to different sources, like Popular content trending on DashBurst, this DashBurst Blog or even specific users or media you follow.

As our first unofficial API release, DashBurst now supports RSS feeds for new Featured and user content.

For starters, now you can follow all Featured DashBurst posts via the RSS reader of your choice or Feedly below:

Your RSS Feed

On your user profile page there is an RSS icon at the bottom left corner of your bio section. So now people can subscribe to you on DashBurst and their favorite RSS readers!

You can also use your own RSS feed to syndicate your DashBurst posts beyond our current automatic sharing support for Facebook and Twitter, to automatically curate content to other social networks and do all sorts of other cool stuff using sites like IFTTT.
