45 Tiny World Cup Jerseys Made from Old Cigarette Boxes

None of the World Cup soccer players would be able to fit into these jerseys, but you’ve got to admit they’re pretty awesome looking. British artist Leo Fitzmaurice turned recycled cigarette boxes into miniature jerseys of the teams playing in the World Cup in an exhibit called “Post Match.” The brilliance of his designs is that he takes everyday objects and transforms them into culturally meaningful collections. The World Cup is a global event, and Fitzmaurice’s work reflects that in its ability to reach anyone, anywhere. Not only that, his choice of material means the world gets a little cleaner as he works.
