Rock and Roll Zoo: Illustrated Animals Portraying Literal Interpretations of Rock Songs

What happens when two random things we love, like rock ‘n roll and zoos, come together? Artist Tracy Worral collaborated with conceptual art gallery Dorothy to create “Rock N’ Roll Zoo,” clever illustrations of animals that portray literal interpretations of animal-themed rock songs.

There are 77 illustrations inspired by song titles, including “Elephant Stone” by The Stone Roses, “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor, “Monkey Gone to Heaven” by the Pixies, “Rocky Raccoon” by The Beatles, “Beetlebum” by Blur, and “Superfly” by Curtis Mayfield. According to the gallery, there’s one prominent animal missing – the giraffe.
