This Interactive Mirrored Cube Installation in Paris Invites You to Take a Moment and Self-Reflect

Arnaud Lepierre is a French designer and scenographer. His mirrored cube exhibit called Ring is an interactive installation that challenges individuals to see themselves and their environment through a different vantage point. The exhibit was commissioned by AUDI and setup at the Place Vendôme in Paris back in 2012.

The gallery description writes:

“Ring” is an installation which takes into consideration the urban space networking : the rhythm, flow, organization and spatial hierarchy. The installation embodies a visual effect that is to connect all of these interactions through the implementation of an optical effect: the repetition of an cubic mirror to break the perception of the place.

The mirrored exhibit invites visitors to walk inside, rediscover their surrounding space and venture outside their bodies for reflection by seeing their own image multiplied over and over again.
