Looping GIFs Painted Frame by Frame Create Paintings in Perpetual Motion
To create his animation, Tyndell first uses Photoshop to paint each frame. He then brings those frames together in a looping GIF, creating a final painting which is forever in motion.
Tyndell was inspired to take up animation after seeing a Stan Brakhage piece at an exhibition at the Frist Museum in Nashville. You can see all of his own animation work in his Loops gallery on his website.
