Oscar Pop! Pop Art Renditions of The Best Picture Nominees

pop-art-header

Almost a week after the Oscars aired, they’re still creating a buzz. In honor of the big awards show, Shutterstock Blog asked its designers to create pop art versions of the Best Picture nominees. Some artists steered their creations toward the more classic pop art style: simplistic, with only a few images and bold colors. Other renditions look like collages, with several overlapping images. Many of the creators were inspired by  Andy Warhol, Eduardo Paolozzi, Robert Dowd, Robert Rauschenberg, Allen Jones, and other major artists in the genre. As you look through Shutterstock’s Oscar pop art, you’ll find that they represent the different movies uniquely and quite appropriately.
