Photographs of Havana Show the Beauty of Everyday Life in Cuba

If you’ve never been to Havana, Cuba, then you’ve never seen its Caribbean beauty. Photographer Tom Blachford captures life in Havana, photographing people, cars, art deco and Spanish Colonial architecture, and much more. These pleasant, colorful photos, many of which are minimalist, convey a sense of everyday life as peaceful and tranquil. In particular, Blachford focused on the cars in Havana, showcasing the vintage cars as pops of color among the paved roads and concrete buildings. Blackford also enjoys capturing aerial shots, like his series of summer in Australia.
