Drawings That Use the Artist’s Actual Fingers as Part of the Illustrations
Your fingers are pretty essential tools for drawing and painting, but Ecuadorian artist Javier Pérez actually incorporates his fingers into his drawings, photographing them and then drawing simple illustrations around them.
Perez lines up the drawings with his hands to create the illusion that the fingers are part of the artwork. For instance, his fingers serve as the tentacles of an octopus, the head and part of the neck of a dinosaur, and the horns of a rhino. The simplicity of the drawings add to their charm. In the end, Pérez creates art that people of all ages can enjoy.
