Nothing’s Impossible: Disney Posters from SXSW
Even Disney got in on the action at SXSW in Austin. The Mondo Gallery showcased playful poster images of classic Disney movies in an exhibit called Nothing’s Impossible, a notable reference to Alice in Wonderland. The gallery teamed with Oh My Disney, Disney’s blog, to put on the show featuring artists Martin Ansin, Jason Edmiston, Aaron Horkey and Mike Mitchell.
The gallery was greatly anticipated as fans waited hours to see the posters. Dan Reynolds, director of social strategy for Disney Interactive, said, “Mondo’s success at bringing classics to life through creative designed for social audiences made them the right partner for this experience at SXSW.”
