3D Colorful Sculpture Illustrations Made Entirely Out of Cut Paper

Paper artist, illustrator and graphic designer Yulia Brodskaya chose paper over computer. While working as a graphic designer, Brodskaya discovered her passion for and talents in paper artwork, and so she abandoned the design lifestyle. Now, she creates vibrant, three-dimensional illustrations made entirely from paper and glue.

Brodskaya builds her paper sculptures by carefully cutting different colored pieces of paper and bending the strips into shapes and patterns. On her website, Brodskaya describes her affinity for paper art:

Paper always held a special fascination for me. I’ve tried many different methods and techniques of working with it, until I found the way that has turned out to be ‘the one’ for me: now I draw with paper instead of on it.

Because of the beauty and innovation behind her art, Brodskaya quickly earned an international reputation and has built several paper sculpture illustrations for famous clients and collectors, including Starbucks, Target, Sephora, Godiva chocolates and more.
