Ocean Waves Burst With Color as They Crash into The Surrounding Rocks
If the ocean were more colorful, what would happen when the waves crashed into the shore? In an exploration of this idea, Paris-based photographer Arnaud Lajeunie created a series of stunning images of a colorful ocean. In Water meets colour, colour meets water, Lajeunie put sugar-based dyes in the water, producing vibrant and dramatic colors not normally seen in nature.
The swirls and splashes of chemical orange, blood red, neon green, and other colors feel unfamiliar, and the series prompts us to question the often fraught relationship between man and the environment.
