NFL Week 1 Predictions 2013
Are you ready for some football? September is a time of hope for all 32 teams as the run begins to Super Bowl XLVIII to be played at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The 2013 NFL Season kicked off Thursday night as the Denver Broncos exploded in the second half and defeated the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens 49-27. Each week the players of DashBurst will bring you insights and predictions of all the NFL games.

Tennessee Titans at Pittsburgh Steelers (-7)
Matchup: Two teams that missed the playoffs in 2012 battle it out at Heinz field. The Steelers, led by Ben Roethlisberger, lost all four of its preseason games this year. Chris Johnson hopes to get rolling for the Titans.

New England Patriots (-10) at Buffalo Bills
Matchup: The New England Patriots come into the 2013 campaign off a tough loss in the AFC Championship game against Baltimore and a tumultuous off season. The Patriots found themselves in the news as star tight end Aaron Hernandez was charged with first degree murder. Bill Belichick leads the Pats with a revamped offense. The Bills looks to improve upon their 6-10 record last year behind rookie quarterback EJ Manuel out of Florida State.

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints (-3)
Matchup: Sean Payton returns to the Saints sidelines after serving the one year suspension. Today’s duel between the Falcons and Saints should prove to be a good one. The last affair went into triple overtime before the Falcons prevailed.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3.5) at New York Jets
Matchup: The Geno Smith era begins in New York. The rookie quarterback gets the start over injured incumbent Mark Sanchez. Greg Schiano returns to New Jersey in his second year as head coach of the Bucs.

Matchup: The Seahawks travel across the country for this early start. Carolina looks to improve on its 7-9 campaign last year led by Cam Newton.

Matchup: This one won’t be pretty. Two losing teams from 2012 meet in Cleveland to kickoff the season. New Cleveland head coach Rob Chudzinski will have his work cut out for him in 2013.

Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions (-4.5)
Matchup: The Vikings are off a 10 win season and playoff appearance while the Lions had a disappointing 4-12 season in 2012. This should be an exciting divisional battle.

Oakland Raiders at Indianapolis Colts (-10.5)
Matchup: Quarterback Andrew Luck leads the Colts after a solid rookie year. The Raiders will start with former Ohio State star, Terrell Pryor, at quarterback.

Cincinnati Bengals at Chicago Bears (-3)
Matchup: The Cincinnati Bengals will look to build on their playoff appearance last year. The Chicago Bears said goodbye to Lovie Smith and welcomed Marc Trestman as new head coach.

Matchup: The Cardinals brought in new head coach Bruce Arians as they look to improve on a disastrous 5-11 season. Jeff Fisher starts his second season as bigger things are expected from the Rams in 2013.

Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers (-4.5)
Matchup: The Green Bay Packers return to San Francisco for revenge from last year’s divisional playoff beating 45-31. The 49ers went on to the Super Bowl, falling just short to the Ravens. This is the game of the day.

New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys (-3)
Matchup: This Sunday Night clash features two long time rivals. Both the Giants and Cowboys are off disappointing seasons as both failed to make the playoffs. This should be a good one in Big D.

Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Redskins (-3.5)
Matchup: Former Oregon Ducks coach Chip Kelly is the new man in Philadelphia. His offenses were explosive in college and he’ll bring excitement to Eagles. Robert Griffin III aka RG3 is returns to start off major knee surgery. A lot of question marks in this division battle.
