Should You Buy a New iPhone? [FLOWCHART]
via Shoebox Blog
Apple debuted the anticipated iPhone 5s and 5c devices last week which, between the two devices, pack a fingerprint sensor, a 64-bit processor, new battery-conserving technologies, and shiny, colorful new casings. As with many Apple product releases in the past, die-hard Apple fans can’t wait to get their hands on the latest and greatest Apple gear. According to Mac Rumors, some fans began camping out in front of Apple’s flagship store on 5th Avenue in Manhattan as early as the weekend before the new iPhones were even announced! That was a full 14 days before the projected release date of the new iPhones, indicating either dedication or insanity among Apple fans: take your pick.
If you are not so convinced that a fingerprint sensor or a yellow casing are enough reason to upgrade to the new iPhone 5s or 5c, ask yourself a few essential questions. First, start at the basics: Is your contract up? If so, great! Go get that upgrade and sell your old phone to someone who needs it.
If you’re not due for an upgrade, ask yourself this: is your phone broken? If not, don’t be frivolous. Save your money and wait until your next upgrade is due. Or at least until your phone breaks.
For those still in-between, this flowchart will help you decide, once and for all, whether you need to buy a new iPhone. Happy shopping! Or non-shopping.
